In Prime Minister's Decree No. 011/26 issued on 20 May 2011, the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) marked a significant step toward open and accountable management of natural resources, with a pledge to publish all its contracts in the oil, mining and forestry sectors. The decree, which resulted from a broader governance reform agenda in DRC as part of the "Promines" project funded by the World Bank and the UK development agency DFID, obliges each ministry in these sectors to release domestic and foreign contracts in its official journal, on the ministry web page, in local newspapers and in industry publications.

Attached here are all mining contracts approved/signed as after a government renegotiation of contracts in 2008, as of November 2011.
